Search no more – the Royal Studies Journal is waiting for your proposals!
Allow us to formally introduce the:
The Royal Studies Journal was founded in 2013 by a group of international researchers and postgraduate students with the support of the University of Winchester. It is published twice a year with 5 additional special issues so far.
The publications are multi-lingual and cover a wide range of topics from researchers all over the world. It is an online only, peer-reviewed journal fully open-access and no charges for either readers or contributors in order to make the research as accessible as possible. The Royal Studies Journal is also indexed in DOAJ.
Although English is the main language of the journal and makes our content accessible to a majority of readers, articles can be also submitted in French, Spanish, Portuguese and German. The optimal length of an article should be between 8,000 and 10,000 words including notes and bibliography. More detailed information and a full style guide can be found on our website.
Additionally, the Royal Studies Journal aims to provide reviews of recent publications covering all aspects of royal and monarchical culture from every chronological period and geographic setting. If you wish to propose a book for review or are interested in becoming a reviewer for the journal find further information here.
